Pastor Yusufu Kazibwe

He is the Executive Secretary of GDM & Associate Pastor to Pastor Elijah Sebuchu

Background.
Born 29 years ago by Eria Mukasa Ssalongo ( R.I.P) and Elizabeth Mukasa Nalongo. Yusufu is the 12th out of 13 children of 8 boys and 5 girls. He was born in the remote village of kanjuki in Kayunga sub-county in the current Kayunga district.

Education Background.
He went to kanjuki church of Uganda Primary School from primary one to primary seven(1986-1994) and did his Ordinary level certificate at Bishop Nkoyoyo Boarding Secondary School, Matale.(1995-1998) he later joined st. Kalemba's S.S Nazigo for his Advanced level of Education( 1999- 2000). He joined School of Hygiene Mbale for a Diploma in Environmental Health Science(2001-2004) and qualified as a Health Inspector in December 2004. He is now pursuing a programme leading to the award of Bachelors of Environmental Health Science of Makerere University ( 2nd year, August, 2009).
Other Qualifications.

He has a certificate in HIV/AIDS counseling and Testing from the Institute of Advanced Leadership, Nsambya.
He obtained a certificate in Computer Application Skills from Makerere University.
A certificate in Public Administration and management from Makerere University.
A certificate in planning and management of Water and sanitation in low income communities from Uganda Management Institute, Kampala.
Employment Status.
His first job was in 1998 vacation when i worked as a building porter and in 2000 he began teaching in a primary and secondary school teaching science and Biology respectively. Currently he is employed by the Uganda public service working as a Health Inspector stationed at one of the Growing Urban councils in Mukono district called Nkokonjeru Town Council and his main task is to ensure prevention of outbreaks of diseases in the community.
Ministry.
He got born Again 11 years ago during my Secondary School and the Lord called him to Active ministry in October 2001 when in Mbale. He first resisted joining active ministry because he saw it as a waste of time without any benefits. However, the burden to serve the Lord became too heavy for him until when he surrendered to serve Him and he has never regretted taking that decision because the Lord is faithful. Pastor Yusufu is one of the Associate pastors of Pastor Elijah at Kampala International Christian Center (KICC) located in Kyanja in Nakawa Division, Kampala. We have seen the hand of the Lord as individuals and in the ministry.
